Labocosmetica RENOVA - Acidic TFR Shampoo That Cleans from Within

Labocosmetica RENOVA is the first ever acidic Traffic Film Remover (TFR) shampoo specially formulated for paint protection films (PPF) and wraps. This revolutionary 2 in 1 blend combines the deep cleaning power of a prewash TFR with the safety and lubrication of a premium shampoo, all in a single step.

Developed in collaboration with professional detailers and installers, RENOVA addresses a common challenge: PPF behaves differently to paint, absorbing and trapping contaminants within its thermo sensitive, porous structure. Traditional neutral cleaners often fail to reach these embedded pollutants, leaving surfaces looking dull or yellowed. RENOVA penetrates deep into micro channels using controlled acidic chemistry and ethoxylated surfactants, dissolving oxidation, mineral deposits, carbon residues and traffic film, without compromising film flexibility, gloss, or protective layers.

Thanks to its thick, highly lubricated foam, RENOVA minimises friction and micro marring during wash. It's safe across gloss, satin and matte finishes and also suitable for delicate coatings, sensitive paint and even contaminated wheels. Its VDA certification ensures full compatibility with heat sensitive surfaces.

Versatile and user friendly, RENOVA is ideal as both a cosmetic maintenance shampoo and an intensive treatment. At dilutions from 1:5 to 1:50, it eliminates the need for an alkaline prewash on protected surfaces. It also plays a strategic role in the advanced Decontamination workflow of Labocosmetica’s 2pH+ cycle when used in tandem with the alkaline TFR LIBERA.

Why use RENOVA instead of PURIFICA?

Although both are acidic products, RENOVA and PURIFICA meet different needs.

• PURIFICA is a descaling shampoo with restructuring action, designed to remove limescale and restore gloss on neglected surfaces, enhancing the final aesthetic result.
• RENOVA, on the other hand, is meant for technical and specialised use: designed to act deeply on PPF films that, over time, have absorbed traffic film and contamination within their heat sensitive structure.

Where PURIFICA renews the appearance, RENOVA works from within, restoring the chemical integrity of the surface and removing embedded dirt that has penetrated the material itself.

How to use RENOVA

Bucket Wash (1:50)

• Dilute 20ml RENOVA in 10L of water.
• Apply with a high lubrication microfibre wash mitt.
• Wash in sections from top to bottom.
• Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean microfibre drying towel.

Intensive Localised Treatment (1:10)

• Dilute 100ml RENOVA in 1L of water.
• Apply to affected areas.
• Allow to dwell for a maximum of 60 seconds.
• Rinse immediately.

Maintenance Shampoo for PPF (1:200)

• Dilute 5ml RENOVA in 1L of water (50ml in 10L).
• Apply with a wash mitt or sponge to an already wet surface.
• Rinse thoroughly.

Booster on Microfibre Mitt (1:5)

• Dilute 200ml RENOVA in 1L of water.
• Pour directly onto the wash mitt.
• Wipe section by section, then rinse immediately.

• Dilute 5ml RENOVA in 1L of water (50ml in 10L).
• Apply with a wash mitt or sponge to an already wet surface.
• Rinse thoroughly.

Degreasing Spray for Wheels or Critical Areas (1:5)

• Dilute 200ml RENOVA in 1L of water.
• Apply via sprayer.
• Agitate with a soft wheel brush.
• Rinse thoroughly.
