Maniac Line Descale Foam Acid Shampoo is a 2 in 1 descaling acid shampoo, designed to eliminate limescale contamination that dulls the bodywork. Descale Foam Shampoo is a valid ally for eliminating mineral deposits after sandy rain or for removing stains left after a snowfall. It can also be applied to remove annoying stains caused by an incorrect car washing or drying phase.

Advanced Pillow Foam Technique: This innovative washing method applies a dense, lubricated foam layer to the car’s surface, lifting dirt and creating a protective barrier between the wash mitt and the bodywork. This reduces friction and minimises the risk of scratches, ensuring a safe and effective clean.

Once the foam has been applied, proceed with the manual washing, delicately passing a microfibre glove directly over the foam. Thanks to the soft and enveloping consistency of the foam, this technique minimises direct contact between the glove and the paintwork, acting as a real cushion that prevents any accidental scratches. Descale Foam Acid Shampoo Dilution Ratios

Foam Gun: Stubborn dirt: 1:5 / Normal dirt: 1:10

Pump Foamer: 1 cap full to 1L of water

Bucket: 3 to 5 caps in 5L of water (for greater lubrication add extra 2 to 3 caps)

Graduated bottle: 1:10

How To Use Descale Foam Acid Shampoo

Prewash: In case of very dirty car, perform an alkaline prewash with Foam Gun Prewash to eliminate coarse dirt.

Pillow Foam Technique (foam cushion):

• Cover the surface of the car with plenty of foam. This will act as a cushion, minimising the risk of accidental scratches on the bodywork when using a wash mitt
• Without rinsing the foam, dilute 3 to 5 caps of product in 5 litres of water in the wash bucket, depending on the contamination present and proceed as a normal car wash with a wash mitt

Rinsing and drying:

• Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with the microfibre drying towel

Helpful tips:

• Add an extra 1-2 caps of shampoo to the wash bucket for greater lubrication of the foam, or 3 caps to remove stains caused by sandy rain
• For maintenance washing, use the Descale Foam Shampoo with Pillow Foam Technique alternating with a neutral shampoo such as our Neutral Foam Shampoo
• When preparing the bodywork for polishing or applying waxes, sealants and protectors, Descale Foam Shampoo can be used after decontaminating the car with Iron Remover for a subsequent mechanical decontamination phase

Cleaning Maintenance of rims and removal of intense dirt:

• Dilute Descale Foam Shampoo 1:10 in the graduated bottle
• For the maintenance of rims, after a deep cleaning with Wheel & Tyre Cleaner spray diluted Descale Foam Shampoo, leave it to act for a few seconds, then rinse thoroughly
• Use a soft bristle brush to reach the gaps such as parts of the rim that are difficult to clean, plastic and chrome
• On the lower parts of the bodywork, in the presence of more intense limescale stains, always spray the product diluted 1:10, leave it to act for a few seconds and proceed with the Pillow Foam technique for a complete wash
